The department of mathematics was established in the year 1987.Shri A.B.Meti worked as a faculty member, later Shri.M.K.Mangaloor joined in the year 1990 and Shri.A.S.Patil joined the department in the year 1993. Miss M.V.Patil joined the department in the year 2019. Smt. S.B.Angadi joined the department in the year 2021. Earlier mathematics was a minor subject. The semester system has been introduced at the Under-Graduate level since 2005-06.Mathematics is considered as one of the optional subjects. Now in the year 2021 NEP introduced Mathematics is considered as one of core subject and elective. At present the department has two faculty members .
