The department of Commerce was started in this esteemed college during the year 1979 with Pre- University Course. Then it was upgraded in the year 1981 by starting UG programme with an objective to fulfill the growing need of rural background of this area for Commerce Education and development of fundamental Business skills that the Industry look For.
The department has qualified, competent and well experienced teaching faculty. It is well equipped with a large number of books, computers, and learning Journals. The performance of the students in the University Examinations has been very good. The 3 years B.Com Degree program is open for numerous career opportunities.
