DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY
Chemistry department was established in the year 1988 with the inception of science faculty in the college affiliated to Karnatak University, Dharwad. It is one of the major department and imparting a quality education in basic science at under graduate level to the educationally backward rural students. Shri. S. M. Hiremath was the founder faculty who rendered a good service. Shri. C. S .Katageri and Shri. A. S. Bagawan are serving as the faculty.
Chemistry department has 2 laboratories and are well equipped with the support of the committed management and UGC assistance. The faculty members are highly experienced, dedicated and motivated. The Department organizes guest lectures, industrial visits, field visits, webinars, and seminars and also conducts remedial coaching to enhance the knowledge and excel the academic growth of students. Students bagged ranks, secured distinctions at the University examinations. With all the participative efforts, the department contributes towards the academic excellence and making college the best place.
