Female educators across the globe have educated, uplifted and influenced millions of souls. Indian female educators contributed to the education, freedom and growth of the society. Shrimati Gangamma Veerappa Chiniwar is one of the most popular female educationists from the history of Karnataka. Matoshri Gangamma Veerappa Chiniwar was a philanthropist and she donated all her property worth of rupees 25 lakhs in 1967 to the cause of education of backward area for the upliftment and development of education by establishing a trust. Matoshri was considered as a great source of inspiration for educational mobilization with the blessings of Pujya Sanganabasava Shivayogi Swami ji of Banthanal. Matoshri believed that education is the most powerful and catalyst for social transformation, empowers an individual to earn their livelihood and increases one’s awareness. Matoshri know that education is a weapon to improve one's life, the most important tool to change one's life and certainly determines the quality of an individual life. That is why Matoshri became Mother to all who study in the institutions established by the trust. Education enables individuals to express their views efficiently.  Matoshri believed that “education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world”.
